What I'm Reading Now
This is the second book in Lisa's Friday Harbor series. Three brothers, Mark, Sam and Alex. Mark's story was first, this one is Sam's. A quarter of the way into it I've already laughed out loud, winced, felt sad and content. In other words, as good as the first!
How's this for a dynamic duo of books? Light fiction and Braille. I've learned the Braille alphabet, numeral system and am working on "reading" it as a blind person would. Why would you want to do that? I've been asked a few times. Because I've always wanted to understand the structure of the dots I've seen below signs and beneath numbers on a elevator. And now I do.
